"As a compliance officer at Quality Assurance, my job is to translate and implement the strategy of GCO and compliances of clients into the organization and processes of GCO. Because of the advanced, ambitious and innovating vision and policy of GCO, my work is a challenging, educating and constant innovating experience.
The vision of GCO is to be a highly professional and flexible organization, providing the client an excellent service and advice, performed in a transparent and integer safe environment. For me it is an absolute challenge to further professionalize the transparency and integrity in GCO’s processes, without influencing the extreme flexibility and client awareness of our project teams.
To provide services as a congress organizer, GCO needs to be highly flexible. On the other hand law, regulations and compliances require strict and consistent processes. These processes are secured in our 9001:2008 quality management system. The system provides us the tools to define and present relevant procedures. Monitoring our performance is done by intensive internal and external audits. The results of these audits are evaluated on the spot and translated instantly in workable solutions.
To prove that our event registration process is transparent and integer, GCO recently received an assurance report, prepared in accordance with International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE) No. 3402. Our next goal is to expand this report to the financial processes.
Quality assurance for GCO isn’t just taking care of quality; it’s a comprehensive challenge of aligning compliances, law and regulations, policy, Finance, IT and operations"
