"Exchange of scientific information and interaction between scientific- and public health stakeholders is a key element for science to progress and to advance health policies based on scientific evidence. Scientific conferences and meetings are a key element to achieve constructive and efficient interactions of these stakeholders.

 In modern times, the time pressures on these stakeholders are enormous. This leads to tight time schedules and the need for efficient meetings. I have identified GCO as being a Congress Organizer which understands these pressures and puts lots of efforts to satisfy the needs for effective and efficient conferences and meetings using up to date technologies to run those meetings as efficient and comfortable as possible.

 By doing so and ensuring an adequate level of interaction between company representatives or scientific organizing committees and GCO project leaders, they succeed to organize scientific meetings to the satisfaction of their variety of clients. In this manner GCO contributes to the global process of sharing scientific information, which ultimately benefits the scientific- and public health communities and therefore the populations at large. Being a member of these scientific- and public health communities, I am happy to support GCO as a member of their Advisory Board."
