Abstract Handling
In anticipation of the abstract submission deadline, GCO will customise in accordance with clients needs an active marketing plan. This plan will consist of placing adverts in specialised literatures and journals, direct mailing of advert campaigns or targeted promotion on scientific websites and can also extend to face-to-face promotion at an exhibition booth at key relevant conferences. This pre-emptive planning seeks to boost abstract submission numbers if this is a need of the client.
The abstract submission process is made simple with our in-house abstract system allowing attendees to simply submit their abstract online. The submission process runs smoothly through our submission module that safeguards the integrity of the submitted content. Authors are provided with access to edit and amend all data to ensure it looks, as it should be printed, allowing for special characters, tables and images.
GCO undertakes the responsibility of the notification process, informing the authors of abstract acceptance or rejection. In addition, GCO offers support to the Scientific Committee during the review process, allowing time for the client to focus on the scientific content. GCO will then layout the submitted data in the correct format for the production of the meeting abstract book.
