Following the completion of his Master degree in Fiscal Law at the University of Leiden, (1986), Tswi Rodrigues Pereira started to work as Tax Inspector at the Government’s Tax Department.
In 1988 Tswi Rodrigues Pereira joined PricewaterhouseCoopers, becoming a partner in 1993, specializing in tax planning, mergers, buy-outs, acquisitions, due diligence reviews and family businesses. Member of the Board of Tax and Legal Services and as such responsible for IT, e-business, education and knowledge management and Chairman of the Israel-desk.
Since 2002 Tswi Rodrigues Pereira has been first partner of Pereira, Van Vliet & Partners, a tax advisory office aimed at offering fiscal advice to companies (international structures, mergers and acquisitions, real estate structures, business succession, finance and royalty structures) and to wealthy individuals (estate planning strategy, prenuptial advice, trust management, divorce settlements, emigration).
Rodrigues Pereira’s specialties are: tax planning, mergers, buy-outs, acquisitions, due diligences (specifically medium- to large sized corporate clients), family businesses both with national and international issues.
His best quality is putting things into perspective, according to him a primary necessity of life. Only if you put things into perspective, you can take the pressure of the heavy things and place, what you experience, in a larger context. Tswi Rodrigues Pereira’s sense of humour and his associative strengths are very closely linked with these quantities.
In his spare time Tswi Rodrigues Pereira likes running and reading books on philosophy.
